Spring forward to the time of year when nature rises out of its dormancy from the winter months. Flowers start to bloom and your home’s landscape is starting to look fresh and new again.
But with the arrival of spring, homeowners are preparing their gardens and landscape for the warmer seasons. One of the best ways to do this is to have the professionals at J&S Landscaping do the work for you with a Spring Clean-Up!
Why Should I Have a Spring Clean-Up?
It is essential for maintaining the health of your lawn and garden. While winter passes through, debris like leaves, twigs, and branches may accumulate on your lawn and garden beds. These debris can prevent your plants and grass from getting the essential nutrients they need to grow and flourish.
What is included with a Spring Clean-Up?
Turf & No Turf Homes: Cleaned of all leaves, debris and will be carted away
Planting bed: Perennials are cut back back, selective pruning if necessary, beds are raked out and edged.
Turf Homes: Turf areas are power raked. Turf is blown out, mowed and edged. Application of spring fertilizer with crab-grass pre-emergent to prevent crabgrass in the late summer, and a lime application.
Suggested Service Programs
Aeration: will relieve soil compaction and enhance grass growth
Dethatching: removes excess thatch from your lawn so that nutrients, air, and water can reach the soil
